NJ Transit:
NJ Transit provides accessible travel via rail and bus from all over New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia. Please visit www.njtransit.com to plan your itinerary. The closest train station to the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center is Metuchen Station. For example, if you are coming from Manhattan, log onto www.njtransit.com and find the Trip Planner at the top of the home page. Enter Penn Station New York in "Travel From," enter Metuchen Station in "Travel To," indicate your preferred day and time of travel, and click the Accessible option if appropriate. The travel planner will do the rest!

If you are a person with a disability, we have a complimentary shuttle service (see next section) available for you and one travelling companion once you arrive at Metuchen Station. If you are not a person with a disability or travelling with one, please secure alternate transportation from the station to the Expo.

Free Curbside Shuttle Service:
Provided by Freedom Motors (Booth 931)
Complimentary shuttle service will be available for people with disabilities who are travelling with one companion. Each shuttle van can hold one wheelchair and approximately two to three able-bodied individuals comfortably. The Freedom Motors shuttle service will run one hour prior to the start of the Expo through the end of the show each day. There will be three vans running on a continuous loop to and from the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center. Passengers may be picked up and dropped off at the following locations: Metuchen Station at the north and south sides of the station (there will be signage), the Sheraton Hotel outside the main lobby and the Hilton Garden Inn outside the main lobby.

NJ Transit’s Access Link:
Access Link is the public, paratransit service for people with disabilities who are unable to use the NJ Transit local fixed route bus systems. In order to use Access Link, you must first apply for eligibility. Click here for more information.

Access Link service is comparable to the bus in that it is available during the same days and hours as the regularly scheduled local fixed route bus service, including weekends and holidays.

Eligible individuals may make transportation appointments to the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center for Abilities Expo any day between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm by calling (800) 955-2321 [TTY (800) 955-6765].
